Domestic & Overseas Travel Notification

Your adventure is fast approaching and we wanted to take a moment to confirm your domestic or overseas travel information in order to prevent any possible VISA security issues.

As you may already know, FALCON is the neural network that scores transactions for both our credit and debit cards. If a high enough score is reached, the card may be blocked. Out of area and overseas transactions sometimes drive that score up.

To help prevent this from happening, we memo your accounts on the card processor and Suncoast systems. The card processing employee who reviews the fraud scores should read these comments before actually blocking the card.

Please confirm your travel information and card information. If you have not listed an area or country that you plan to visit, please let Suncoast know by calling 1-800-999-5887. The representative(s) you speak with will complete a travel notification form that will reach the necessary areas. The representative will also have a couple of friendly reminders and helpful phone numbers.

A FEW TIPS:

It is advisable to carry more than one credit and/or debit card when traveling overseas. Suncoast also offers Visa Prepaid Cards and Travelers Checks.

Below is a list of countries with additional transaction restrictions that may limit transaction amounts or frequency. Please call at least two weeks in advance of your departure date if you need a list of restrictions for a particular country. Your request will be sent to the appropriate area(s) and you will be contacted through your method of choice prior to your departure date.
